Marcos Garza is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and obtained a Master’s of Science from the University of Tennessee. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Marcos Garza began his legal career in the United States Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate Attorney in 1999.

In 2005, he was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps after achieving the rank of Captain. While in the Marine Corps, he served as a Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor, a law of war/combat arms analyst, prosecutor, and was selected as an Aide-de-Camp to a General. Marcos Garza qualified as an Expert in pistol qualification and Sharpshooter in rifle qualification while in the Marine Corps. After his tour as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps, Marcos Garza returned to practice law in his home of East Tennessee. Marcos M. Garza, of the Garza Law Firm, PLLC, is best known for his defense of those accused of criminal charges, including people who are charged with crimes in the exercise of self-defense, people charged with DUI, and other crimes and for his representation of individuals who have suffered serious personal injury.
